Delungra Ag & Auto Terms & Conditions of Trade and Engine Warranty Policy

These terms apply to all work carried out by Delungra Ag & Auto unless otherwise agreed in writing. By authorising work, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

These terms apply to all work carried out by Delungra Ag & Auto unless otherwise agreed in writing. By authorising work, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. Customer Authorisation

Repairs, inspections and installations will only be carried out after customer approval. Verbal approval via phone, email or in person constitutes authorisation for the work and associated costs. Additional faults discovered during repairs may require further authorisation.

3. Used Parts and Engines

Used engines and components carry inherent risk due to unknown prior operating conditions. Delungra Ag & Auto will advise where visible wear or reliability concerns are identified. If a customer declines recommended repairs or overhauls, Delungra Ag & Auto accepts no responsibility for failures related to those declined recommendations.

4. Customer Supplied Parts

No warranty is provided on parts supplied by the customer. Labour related to installation of customer supplied parts is not covered if those parts fail.

5. Payment Terms

All invoices are payable in full prior to collection unless otherwise agreed. Delungra Ag & Auto reserves the right to retain possession of goods until payment is made in full.

6. Cooling System Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring the machine cooling system, including radiator, fan, fan shroud, hoses and thermostats, is in correct operating condition. Delungra Ag & Auto accepts no responsibility for overheating caused by cooling system faults or incorrect fan configuration.

7. Field Repairs

Repairs performed on farms or remote sites occur under conditions outside the control of Delungra Ag & Auto. Environmental conditions such as dust, weather and limited facilities may affect repair outcomes.

8. Operating Conditions

Heavy machinery operates under varying loads and environmental conditions. Delungra Ag & Auto accepts no responsibility for engine failure caused by misuse, excessive load, overheating, contaminated fuel or poor maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Delungra Ag & Auto will not be liable for crop loss, downtime, loss of income or consequential damages resulting from machinery failure.

10. Customer Conduct

Delungra Ag & Auto maintains a zero tolerance policy for abusive or threatening behaviour toward staff. The business reserves the right to refuse service or restrict communication to written correspondence.

Engine Warranty Policy

Workmanship carried out by Delungra Ag & Auto is warranted for 30 days or 100 operating hours, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated in writing. Used engines are supplied based on their existing condition and are not guaranteed for service life unless a rebuild has been performed.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty is void if the engine is overheated, improperly operated, maintained incorrectly, or modified by unauthorised persons. Customer declined repairs, incorrect cooling systems, or unauthorised engine disassembly automatically void warranty.

Warranty Claims

All claims must be reported immediately. The engine must not be dismantled by any third party before inspection by Delungra Ag & Auto. If the customer disputes a decision, an independent diesel engine specialist report may be required.
